Prof. Stephen D. Oliner
Stephen D. Oliner is a visiting scholar at the Alrov Institute and a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and codirector of AEI’s International Center on Housing Risk. Oliner is also a senior fellow at the Ziman Center for Real Estate at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Itai Ater
Dr. Ater is the head of the business strategy area at the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University and a senior lecturer of business economics and strategy. Dr. Ater’s fields of research include: applied microeconomics focused on competition economics in the retail, automobile and real estate markets, behavioral economics and law and economics.
Dr. Roni Golan
Roni Golan is a researcher of real estate economics. His research is focused mainly on seller and buyer decision-making and price behavior in the housing market. His latest studies concentrated on the consequences of imperfection in the Israeli housing market.
Dr. Tsur Somerville
Dr. Tsur Somerville is a visitin scholar at the Alrov Institute and an associate professor and holder of the Real Estate Foundation Professorship in Real Estate Finance at the Sauder School of Business at UBC. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University.
Dr. Anna Dorfman
Anna Dorfman is a postdoctoral researcher of organizational behavior in the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University. In her research, Dr. Dorfman deals with the study of the impact of psychological factors, such as power and emotions, on socioeconomic decision making by individuals and groups.
Doron Yacobi holds an MPhil in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cambridge, cum laude. Yacobi is a licensed solicitor and land surveyor in the UK. His professional experience includes managerial positions in leading real estate firms in Israel and abroad. Yacobi heads student research groups at the Alrov Institute.
Amitay Frenkel is an MBA student at the School of Economics at Tel Aviv University. Before his doctoral studies, he completed a BA in economics and sociology, magna cum laude, in the field of housing. In the Alrov Institute, Amitay deals with the development of housing affordability indices in addition to fields of research.
Sagi Katz is a finance doctoral student at the Tel Aviv University, a researcher at the Alrov Institute of Real Estate Research and a lecturer on finance and real estate. His professional experience includes, inter alia, economic advice on economics, finance and real estate. In the past, he worked as a senior valuator and as the head of the economic department of a leading real estate valuation firm.
David Ash is a finance doctoral student in the Faculty of Management, specializing in real estate research. Ash studies economic behavior and forecasting trends and prices in the real estate market. He holds an MBA and MA in economics, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
